The new dimension in handset forming: DokaXlight – the ultralight, universal aluminum handset system. Weighing just 22.6kg (50lbs) per main panel (0.75 x 1.50m), DokaXlight formwork proves to be both cost-effective and user-friendly for cast-in-place (CIP) concrete structures of varying types and sizes. Its lightweight design eliminates the need for cranes, allowing a single person to handle the formwork safely. This not only accelerates the construction process but also optimizes resource utilization. Tim Silver is a Senior Account Manager at Doka Canada serving the Atlantic provinces. His impact was pivotal in the establishment of a new Doka Canada branch in the Halifax area in 2023 after three years of dedicated service to the company. With an impressive background spanning 12 years in commercial and residential construction, Tim recently applied his construction expertise using Doka formwork for the construction of multi-story residential buildings in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Notably, he achieved a milestone by becoming the first Canadian user of our DokaDek system with his family's company in Halifax.
