Luc Bédard obtained a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University de Sherbrooke in 1995.
In 1999, he also completed a master's degree in engineering from the same university, including
a path in urban infrastructure rehabilitation focused on concrete structures. Also, he completed
an MBA program at the University du Quebec à Montréal (UQAM). He began his career
monitoring concrete on site for a testing laboratory. In 1998, he worked to start a concrete manufacturing plant in Argentina. Subsequently, he held the position of director of quality for a prefabrication company and he managed the quality system of 13 paving and concrete block factories. In 2008, he joined the Association béton Québec as Technical Director and since 2012 has held the position of General Manager.
