This session will provide an overview of exciting innovations in concrete pavement design, discussing the tools, materials and techniques available for building, maintaining and repairing roads using concrete. The session will also review the many benefits that accrue to project owners when they use alternative pavement bidding and lifecycle assessment and cost analysis for their projects.

Eric Ferrebee, P.E. - Director of Technical Services, American Concrete Pavement Association
Eric Ferrebee is the Director of Technical Services with the American Concrete Pavement Association. Eric joined the ACPA staff in the summer of 2014. He is responsible for providing technical resources and consulting services to ACPA members and the agencies and owners they serve. Eric is in charge of developing ACPA’s Wikipave online technical resource, which is the largest on-line resource for concrete pavement technology. He is a key team member in the industry’s development of the online pavement thickness design tool PavementDesigner.org. He also supports the Association’s mission through development of technical literature; overseeing research projects; and enhancing concrete paving technology transfer and information sharing. Eric has earned both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois.
