Join us for an overview of recent and upcoming updates to the 2024 CSA Code and other relevant standards/codes in relation to the rebar industry. The seminar will explore the effect on design, detailing and construction practices while discussing the direct implications for structural engineers, fabricators, and contractors. Presented by the Reinforcing Steel Institute of Canada’s Technical Committee.

Edward Wilczynski, General Manager – Canada and Northeast, HRC - Headed Reinforcement Corporation
Ed is a Registered Architect in several jurisdictions and holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University at Buffalo. He has worked in the construction industry for almost 20 years and currently serves as the General Manager for Canada/Northeast US with HRC. His main focuses are outreach, education and development with an attention to Codes, Standards, and Applications. Ed is a contributing member on committees within RSIC, CRSI and AIANYS.
Rick Dozzi
Rick Dozzi, VP of Engineering, Canadian BBR Inc.
Rick has worked in the reinforcing steel industry for over 35 years, specializing in prestressed concrete. Having completed over 400 post tensioned structures Rick continues to participate on technical committees; CSA A23.1, CSA G30.18, CSA S413, and Reinforcing Steel Institute of Canada. Licensed Professional Engineer in several provinces.
Nathan Buccella
Nathan Buccella, Post Tensioning Engineer, Canadian BBR Inc.
After completing a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering at McMaster University, Nathan started his career as a structural designer at Stephenson Engineering Ltd. For the past three years, he has worked as a project manager/project engineer at Canadian BBR Inc., a Toronto based post-tensioning contractor.
