Concrete Infrastructure Reimagined: Advanced Strategies for Extended Service Life

Date & Time: Wednesday Feb 11, 2026 at 12:00 pm
Duration: 50 minutes
Location: Pegasus Room A
Registration: $50 plus hst

Description

This presentation offers a comprehensive, scientifically backed approach to extending the service life of concrete infrastructure by evaluating degradation mechanisms—including corrosion and alkali-silica reaction—and optimizing repair strategies with advanced modeling techniques. Attendees will gain practical insights into leveraging SIMCO’s analytical tools to design durable and cost-effective solutions for both new and existing structures. The session addresses the pressing needs of owners, engineers, and contractors for innovative methods that enhance performance and longevity in concrete construction. Through detailed case studies and real-world examples, participants will learn how strategic interventions can significantly prolong service life and improve overall asset management.
